He possesses deep expertise in cancer biology, antibody engineering, and the tumor microenvironment ecosystem, along with a proven track record in preclinical drug discovery, scientific strategy, and global team leadership. Before joining Circurna, Robert held senior academic and administrative roles at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute and UC San Diego, where he led translational research programs, secured ongoing NIH funding, and promoted industry-academic collaborations.
